Really I'm only posting this blog right now in order to keep my routine of posting everyday...
Our little Sarah has been at the Veterinary for 48 hours now and it hasn't been that easy of a day.
I had some plans to go to the gym and then work on my office for today but Sarah hasn't gotten better since late Thursday/Early Friday.
Friday into Saturday, Sarah was going between her normal veterinary and an overnight ER and today our Vet suggested that we take Sarah to a 24/7 medical place so she didn't have to keep going back and forth overnight.
I drove Sarah and my mother to Williamsburg and my sister and her daughter met us there.
We got Sarah checked in, had the conversation with the doc, paid one mess of a bill 🤯 and said our "love you's" to Sarah and headed home to wait for updates on her health.
I believe we didn't get home until about 230pm and if I remember correctly we left at like 10am.
Granted 4ish hours isn't that long of a period in a day but when you tie the emotions of the situation into play... yeah I wanted to go to sleep when I got home.
The only thing that stopped me from going to bed was when I opened my garage door and saw my little Civic still covered in salt and blah from all the snow on the roads lol
The weather was the best it has been in a week and I saw a TON of people washing their cars on the way home so I decided I would wash mine too lol
That took me almost an hour and by the time I was done, I was hungry again so I grabbed some food and essentially stuffed my face and tried to keep myself occupied in my office for a while.
But really what happened was I ate and crashed....
Later in the evening I checked on my mother and she was really struggling with fears of loosing Sarah especially since we just lost my father a few months ago. I spoke with her for a little and thankfully shortly after we talked the Vet called.
Long story short, it was a "good" prognosis of pancreatitis and some sort of stomach disease. This particular vet/doctor speaks fast and uses alot of terms that I don't remember nor care to try so that's what you are getting as a highlight of the phone call lol
In a nutshell, the Vet is glad we were able to figure this out now so they can really try to hit Sarah a little harder with medication and what not. We have high hopes and prayers for her to heal but it can still turn out not pleasant sooooo with that all being said, I don't really have much more to say for today.
I'm going to try to get ready for bed and read.
Take Care All!
Doggie Power to my Sarah Lee!
